BUILDING MOMENTUM: Custom Framebag Workshop with Fender Bender and Stitch Lab – SOLD OUT!
I’m beyond excited to share that the Bike Bag Making Workshop, offered in collaboration with Fender Bender and Nelson Stitch Lab, has officially sold out!
This custom framebag-making workshop is just one of the many unique opportunities we offer through Building Momentum Bikepacking. Designed to deepen participants’ connection to the bikepacking experience, the workshop provides a chance to create a personalized waxed canvas half-frame bag from scratch.
Workshops like these go beyond skill-building. They are about reclaiming space in bike culture and embracing a more sustainable, self-sufficient approach to gear. Participants gain hands-on experience that empowers them to repair and reuse, rather than replace. This shifts us away from the pressure to constantly buy new, especially in the growing age of online shopping. Just as importantly, participants will head into our overnight ride with the confidence that their gear fits, functions, and can be fixed.
This collaboration is a beautiful example of how we’re working to make bikepacking more accessible, more inclusive, and more DIY-empowered. A huge thank you to Fender Bender and Stitch Lab for helping make it happen! I can’t wait to share more about the results of the workshop.
Stay tuned for more creative and practical additions to the Building Momentum program. We’re building something special, and I’m so proud of how it’s taking shape.
